A few days ago, it became known that almost a hundred horses, kept at the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding on a paid basis, are being evicted within a few days. This caused a strong reaction among their owners and a wide resonance in the sports community.
The situation was commented on for "Prystalichcha" by Vladimir Kraevsky, Deputy General Director for Core Activities of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding.
— Annually, contracts for paid services for horse keeping are concluded at the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding. The current contracts expire on July 1, 2026. According to clause 6.9 of the contract, it can be extended for a new term after written notification by the client to the center no later than 14 calendar days before its expiration. As of June 25, not a single application submitted in the prescribed manner has been received by the center.
In this regard, and also due to numerous requests from other owners who wish to place their horses at the center, regarding transparent and fair contract conclusion for their keeping, the center's management is considering the possibility of concluding such contracts on a competitive basis.
A working group will also be created to develop mechanisms for fair and transparent contract conclusion for horse placement, taking into account the opinions of all interested parties, — noted Vladimir Kraevsky, Deputy General Director for Core Activities of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding.
