From July 1, 2026, a new procedure for scheduled computer and magnetic resonance imaging without the use of contrast agent has been introduced in state healthcare institutions of Belarus, reported the press service of the Ministry of Healthcare.

Now, the waiting time for such examinations should not exceed 30 days. The Ministry of Healthcare noted that this issue is under constant control, and the main goal is to make diagnostic care more accessible and timely.
In cases of emergency medical indications, CT and MRI will be performed out of turn in a priority manner.
If patients have questions regarding appointments or the timeframe for examinations, they are recommended to contact the administration of their polyclinic or hospital. Additionally, necessary information can be obtained through the official chatbot of the Ministry of Healthcare.
