According to the Department of Financial Investigations of the SCC, to implement the scheme, seven controlled companies were registered in the names of Russian citizens. Revenue from taxi services was artificially distributed among them, which allowed them to use a simplified taxation system and reduce the tax burden. Meanwhile, a significant portion of the income, it is alleged, was not reflected in the accounting records at all.

It was also revealed that over 700 drivers worked without official employment contracts and received payments through the 'Yandex Taxi' service. As a result, their incomes were not officially accounted for, and taxes on their earnings were not paid.

According to SCC calculations, from 2023 to 2025, the organizers of the scheme evaded tax payments amounting to over 1.5 million rubles. Criminal cases have been initiated against the suspects, and to compensate for the damage, property has been seized, including 25 cars and cash.
