In Ukraine, the situation with the Belarusian bus in the Bryansk region was called a 'deliberate provocation by Russians'
Russian propaganda is actively spreading reports about an alleged strike by a Ukrainian drone on a Belarusian bus in the territory of Russia's Bryansk region. However, the Russian side has not provided any evidence to support its claims and has not even published photographs from the scene, notes the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in its statement.

The Center for Countering Disinformation notes that these reports began to be widely disseminated approximately two weeks after a similar story about an alleged Ukrainian drone attack on a Belarusian bus carrying a children's football team in the same Bryansk region. It is noted that this information was refuted by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.
«The spreading of fakes by propagandists about alleged Ukrainian attacks on civilian buses from Belarus is a deliberate provocation by Russians, who desperately want to draw Belarus into the war against Ukraine. Belarusian society does not support Russia's aggression against Ukraine,» — asserts the CCD.
It is also suggested that similar incidents could be orchestrated by Russian special services themselves, as Russia is interested in using Belarusian territory for military purposes.
It is also specifically emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine consistently adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law and strike only legitimate military targets.
