Strong bad weather, which occurred on July 1, affected Grodno and Minsk regions. According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, wind gusts reached 20 meters per second, as a result of which six settlements were affected.

The elements damaged the roofs of eight residential buildings and two outbuildings. Restoration work is currently underway at all affected sites.
In the Grodno region, 29 cases of trees falling onto car roadways were registered. Rescuers were dispatched to eliminate the consequences in Ashmyany, Vawkavysk, Voranava, Grodno, Ivye, Navahrudak, Svislach, Smarhon, and Shchuchyn districts, as well as in Grodno.
In the Minsk region, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees were dispatched three times to saw up downed trees in Valozhyn district and Maladzyechna. In one case, a tree damaged a passenger car.
As a result of the bad weather, no one was injured.
