A New Full-Size Pickup Truck Assembled Near Minsk. Here's How Much It Costs
Sales of the full-size Dongfeng Z9 pickup truck, produced at the Unison enterprise near Minsk, have begun in Belarus. Myfin.by writes about its price and credit program terms.
Prices for the model start from 119,800 rubles and go up to 146,800 rubles — depending on the wheelbase length, engine, gearbox, and trim level.
The pickup is available in standard and long-wheelbase versions.
The first version has a wheelbase of 3,300 mm, the second – 3,505 mm. The long-wheelbase Z9 specifically reaches 5,725 mm in length and features a cargo platform measuring 1,760 × 1,600 × 555 mm.
The most affordable Dongfeng Z9 is a standard pickup truck with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 258 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. In the Winter trim, it costs 119,800 rubles.
Diesel versions are equipped with a 2.3-liter engine producing 190 hp.
The standard-wheelbase pickup with a manual transmission in the Titan trim is priced at 123,800 rubles. For the diesel modification with an 8-speed automatic, they ask 130,800 rubles, and for the more equipped Platinum variant – 137,800 rubles.
The long-wheelbase Z9 is more expensive. The gasoline version with an automatic transmission in the LWB Titan trim costs 129,800 rubles. A diesel pickup with a manual transmission will cost 133,800 rubles, with an automatic – 140,800 rubles. The top-tier version with a diesel engine, automatic transmission, and LWB Platinum trim is 146,800 rubles.
All Dongfeng Z9 versions are equipped with BorgWarner all-wheel drive and a differential lock. Ground clearance is stated at 235 mm, and the wading depth is up to 800 mm. Approach and departure angles are 31 and 26 degrees respectively.
The pickup has a dual-row five-seater cabin.
Depending on the trim level, the equipment list will include LED optics, heated windshield and steering wheel, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats, a 10-inch digital instrument panel, and a multimedia system with a 12-inch screen.
Also declared for the Z9 are a stabilization system, emergency braking assistance, rollover protection, and Auto Hold function. Versions with an automatic transmission feature driving modes, off-road cruise control, and a 'tank turn' function.
A credit program is available for the model with a rate starting from 6.6% per annum for the first three years. The Dongfeng Z9 has become another model of the brand whose production is organized at 'Unison': the site also produces Shine, Shine GS, T5 EVO, MAGE, HUGE, and Bigvan.
