Modern music icon Taylor Swift and American football player Travis Kelce got married on Friday, July 3, during a lavish ceremony held at Madison Square Garden. The information was confirmed by the singer's representative, writes People.
“The wedding attire for the bride and groom was created by the Christian Dior Haute Couture atelier. They were designed by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior's women's, men's, and couture collections, in close collaboration with the newlyweds. This is Anderson's first wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. The shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” reads the statement from Swift's representative.
According to the statement, the couple had neither a maid of honor nor groomsmen.
Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, served as her “man of honor,” and Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, was the best man. The ceremony, which united the two families, was officiated by their friend—actor and comedian Adam Sandler.
After the couple was declared husband and wife, a message appeared on large screens near the arena: “JUST&T MARRIED!” (“Just Married!”).
