Minsk Follower of Nikola Tesla Soldered 10 Batteries to an Electric Scooter — And Burned Down His Apartment
The incident occurred in late May in one of the apartments. A severe fire broke out in the apartment.

As a result, the window glass cracked, the PVC windowsill melted, the wallpaper partially burned out, the laminate was damaged, and the bed frame was charred, the State Committee of Forensic Examinations reported.
As it turned out later, the Minsk resident decided to independently upgrade the battery of his electric scooter after watching videos on the internet.
To increase the battery capacity, he added 10 more batteries to the main battery and connected them using a soldering iron.

After completing all the work and installing the battery into the casing, sparking began, followed by an open flame that could not be extinguished independently.
