In Threads, people are sounding the alarm and sharing concerns due to a notice sent to private horse owners by the «Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding», noted «Salidarnasts».

From the letter published online, it follows that it was signed by the Center's management on Friday, June 26. It states:

«This informs you that in accordance with clause 6.8 of the paid horse maintenance services agreement, its term expires on July 1, 2026.

Currently, the Center is experiencing high demand for horse maintenance services. To optimize the management of applicant flow, increase the transparency of the contract conclusion process, and improve service quality, further contract conclusions will be carried out based on the results of an electronic auction (competition).

The date, time, and other information regarding the auction (competition) will be published on the Center's official website — конныйспорт.бел.

In connection with the foregoing, we request that you take the necessary measures to vacate the premises by July 1, 2026, in accordance with the terms of the agreement».

In Threads, several users shared information that the discussion is about stables in Ratomka.

One user claims that the urgent evacuation of the stable will affect 96 private horses:

— Such a «lightning-fast» relocation for horses is not just an inconvenience. It's a direct risk of injuries, illnesses, loss of athletic form, and even a threat to life. We are not against dialogue and do not refuse to discuss new conditions. We ask for one thing: reasonable deadlines and solutions that will not be dangerous for the animals and their riders. A horse is not furniture in a warehouse.

Another user notes:

— An emergency situation in Ratomka. 90 pedigree horses are being evicted to the street. Literally. The Center's management issued a notice on Friday evening: vacate the stables by July 1. For moving such a huge number of animals, people were left with exactly two working days. Horses are not boxes in a warehouse; you can't just put them outside the fence…

My horse has lived in Ratomka for ten years. I can't imagine how he will cope with the move and parting with his favorite neighbor. I can't imagine how I will cope with his move. I live and work in Ratomka; I have dedicated years of my life to it. And now such a kick in the backside…

Now, boarding will be subject to an electronic auction, and boarders will be selected on a competitive basis following the "who pays more" principle. This is despite auctions being strictly limited by law and can only be conducted for the lease/sale of state property and state procurement. Here, we have agreements for maintenance services. Public ones. Which are not so easy to terminate or not renew if the boarder diligently pays and fulfills the terms of the agreement.

Another user emphasizes:

— This is a terrible situation, because we have nowhere to go; there are no places in the stables of the Minsk district… You couldn't imagine anything worse.

On the website of the «Republican Center for Olympic Training in Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding», which is part of the Ministry of Sports structure, it is stated that «the cost of keeping a private horse for 1 stall per day is 16.80 rubles, including 20% VAT».

The price includes: brigadier services, night stablemen services, use of outdoor sports facilities, winter arena, organic waste removal, bedding, and other production costs. The cost of feed is paid by private horse owners based on actual expenses.
