Dmitry Eliseev, director of the housing and communal services of the Leninsky district, announced that gas supply to houses No. 9 and No. 11 on Lenin Street in Minsk, which were affected by the fire, has been restored.
At the same time, work on restoring electricity supply continues: automatic circuit breakers, cable lines have been replaced, and shields damaged during the fire have been repaired. Currently, apartment electrical panels are being dried.
Electricity might be partially switched on today, but this depends on the humidity levels in the premises. Water is already available in both houses. Specialists are also inspecting apartments and compiling inspection reports, and defect reports are planned to be drawn up in two weeks.
The fire in house No. 9 on Lenin Street in Minsk occurred on the evening of June 28 — the roof and attic spaces were burning. The flames partially affected the roof of the adjacent house No. 11 as well. The fire area was about 1000 square meters, but there were no casualties, and the fire was completely extinguished only on the morning of June 29.
