In Mogilev, a welder died after attempting to descend on a freight elevator
In Mogilev, on the territory of one of the former industrial enterprises, a 65-year-old welder died on the morning of July 9, reports the Investigative Committee.

According to the Investigative Committee, the man wanted to descend to the lower floor. He opened the freight elevator door, did not make sure the cabin was in place, and stepped into the empty elevator shaft.
The worker fell from a height of about six meters and sustained fatal injuries.
It was established that the workshop building had not yet been put into operation. At the time of the incident, access to the upper floors was only possible via stairs.
An investigation is being conducted into the worker's death, and all circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
