Rubel deposits grew by almost 18 percent since the beginning of the year
As of July 1, citizens' term rubel deposits in Belarus were estimated at 17.9 billion rubles. In the first half of the year, their sum increased by 2.7 billion rubles, or 17.9%.

Deposits of individuals in rubles have been growing for the second year. In June, they increased by 403.3 million rubles, or 2.3%. Approximately the same picture was observed a month earlier (plus 435.6 million rubles, or 2.6%), writes Office Life.
The growth dynamics of citizens' term rubel deposits outpaces last year's statistics. For example, in the first half of 2025, their growth was estimated at 1.9 billion rubles, or 17.2%.
The share of rubel deposits in all term deposits of individuals reached 72.2% as of July 1, 2026, compared to 62.6% a year earlier, the National Bank noted.
