The US intends to discuss with Hungary and Slovakia the further renunciation of Russian energy resources, stated Secretary of State Marco Rubio to journalists on his way to Munich, where an international security conference will begin today.

«We will hold negotiations with them. We will talk to them about what needs to happen. I am not going to go into the details of what we are going to say at these meetings,» Rubio said.
Rubio also called Hungary and Slovakia countries that actively cooperate with the United States and are in close partnership with them.
When asked by journalists about possible plans for a meeting on the sidelines of the conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Rubio answered in the affirmative. «I think so. I think he should have been there. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it will work out,» the Secretary of State replied.
Rubio also informed journalists that he does not plan to visit Russia this week.
The Munich Security Conference kicks off today. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will take part in it.
