kvitki.by Service Trademarks Transferred to "Belarusian Lotteries"

In autumn 2025, the Belarusian ticket sales service kvitki.by went into liquidation. It was reported that the decision was made by its sole owner. As Office Life found out , in mid-January 2026, the service's trademarks were transferred to the state enterprise "Belarusian Lotteries".

Information about this appeared in the database of trademarks of the National Intellectual Property Center, as well as in the center's Official Bulletin.

The ticket sales service kvitki.by operated in Belarus from the late 2000s. It was developed by the company "Kvitki Bel". From the mid-2010s, it belonged to one of the largest ticket sales operators in the Baltic countries — "Baltic Ticket Holdings". Since 2024, the Belarusian company has been owned by the Estonian company "BTH Invest". The latter made the decision to liquidate the company in September 2025.

At the end of August last year, the kvitki.by ticket sales service was down for almost a day and deleted several of its social media pages.

Regarding the trademarks of "Kvitki Bel", three trademarks were registered with the NCIP: an old logo with the name of the ticket sales service and a new one, in Belarusian, as well as the logo of the ticket ordering service kassir.by. According to the Official Bulletin of the National Intellectual Property Center of Belarus, on January 14, 2026, an agreement was signed between "Kvitki Bel" company and RUE "Belarusian Lotteries" for the assignment of these trademarks.

All trademarks were originally registered by "Kvitki Bel" company in three classes of services. Now "Belarusian Lotteries" will be able to use them, for example, for ticket delivery, advertising, booking tickets for entertainment, educational, and cultural events, etc.
