In Minsk, a micro-apartment with an area of 10 square meters is being rented out

Living area is eight square meters. What's the rental price?

Micro-apartments are a common phenomenon in megacities like Moscow, Paris, Tokyo. However, in Minsk, such housing has never been massively built and is rather an exception. But now, one such option has appeared in an old Khrushchev-era building on Roza Luxemburg Street, writes Onliner.by.

The address of the house is Roza Luxemburg Street, 82. The location in the five-story building is good: nearby are Grushevka metro station, public transport stops, new buildings, a hotel. The owner himself calls his property a micro-studio. The total area of the premises is 10 sq. m, of which 8 sq. m are allocated for living space.

— The studio is after renovation, equipped with necessary furniture and appliances for comfortable living, — writes the author of the advertisement. — Kitchen furniture with a refrigerator, a tabletop induction hob, and a microwave. The floor is made of porcelain stoneware, the window has double-glazed units, and the door has a knob lock.

Bathroom: all surfaces are tiled with ceramic tiles, there is a shower, toilet, sink, and mirror. A washer-dryer is installed. A set of bed linen and dishes is provided if necessary.

How much does such a temporary housing option cost? It can be rented for a short term, for example, a week, or for a long term. A week is priced at 350 rubles, two weeks will cost 500 rubles, and for a month, you'll have to pay 850 rubles. What's interesting is that utility payments are already included in these rates.

— This is an ideal option for a single young independent person, for a business trip or study, — believes the owner.

A month's rent for the micro-studio is estimated at $300 at the current exchange rate.

In good times for tenants, this was the average price of a one-room apartment in Minsk.
