US President Donald Trump stated that Iran violated the ceasefire by organizing a drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the American president, one of the drones hit the deck of a large cargo ship, causing damage. However, the ship was able to continue sailing, and three more drones were shot down.
"Obviously, this is a stupid violation of our ceasefire agreement," Trump stated.
On June 25, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz was damaged by an unknown projectile that hit its starboard side. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
Following this, Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the UN International Maritime Organization, announced the temporary suspension of operations to evacuate approximately 600 vessels and 11,000 seafarers located in the Persian Gulf area.
Despite the ongoing ceasefire, the situation in the region remains tense. The Strait of Hormuz is of key importance for global trade, as a significant portion of daily supplies of oil, liquefied natural gas, and other strategic goods pass through it.
