Yesterday, an exchange of prisoners of war took place in the Gomel region, 160 for 160. Today, an exchange of civilians took place at the "Novaya Huta" checkpoint.

Seven people each returned to Ukraine and Russia, writes BelTA.
The returned Ukrainians were detained in 2022 during the occupation of Mariupol, Kyiv region (Bucha), Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions. The prisoners are between 35 and 66 years old.

"One of the Ukrainians was abducted by Russians from his own home simply because his sons serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another Ukrainian was abducted on his way to work, where he was heading on the day of the Russian invasion.
Among those released is also a volunteer who joined the 'Angels of Taira' brigade in Mariupol in 2022. It was on that day that Taira herself was detained along with him, whom we managed to bring home earlier," said Dmytro Lubinets, the Human Rights Commissioner of Ukraine.
Among the Russians are five residents of the Kursk region and two from other regions, reported Yana Lantratova, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.
