Today in the afternoon, a company of three people was relaxing on the bank of the Slepianka water system and drinking, the Investigative Committee reports.
Then a 56-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman decided to swim across the reservoir "for speed". During the swim, the Minsk resident began to submerge underwater and soon disappeared from sight.
After some time, friends found him at the bottom of the reservoir. Rescuers who arrived at the scene pulled the man out of the water.
After resuscitation measures were carried out, medics pronounced the Minsk resident dead.
