Maternity Hospital No. 3 on Lenin Street in Minsk Quietly Closed

Already in July, some specialists from there will start working in other maternity hospitals in the capital.

Gynecologists remain working at Klyumov Hospital No. 3 (to which the maternity hospital belonged) on Lenin Street. However, specialists working directly with newborns have been distributed among other healthcare institutions.

Sources of «Nasha Niva» explain that the closure of the maternity hospital is due to a significant deterioration of the demographic situation in the country.

A journalist from «Nasha Niva» called Hospital No. 3 and asked how to conclude an agreement for partner childbirth.

«No way anymore. The maternity hospital has been closed since May. Now they will convert it into some kind of women's center,» replied the paid services department.
