Minsk is melting from the heat. See what's happening on the city beaches
Over the weekend, the capital found itself in the grip of real summer heat. While some sought refuge in the shade, others headed closer to the water.

Beaches #4 and #5 of Minsk Sea, as well as Komsomolskoye Lake, were crowded from early morning: Minsk residents swam, paddleboarded, relaxed with children, and simply enjoyed the sunny weather. Onliner's photographer visited the most popular city beaches and saw how the capital's residents spent the hot summer weekend.
Komsomolskoye Lake is traditionally crowded. It's convenient to get here from almost any point in the city, so you have to search for a free spot on the sand. Some come to swim after work or a jog, some arrange a family picnic, and the bravest sunbathe right on the pier.

Beaches #4 and #5 of Minsk Sea have a completely different atmosphere. There's more space here, a pine forest almost reaches the shore, and instead of city noise, you can hear the lapping of water and music from portable speakers. Some vacationers spend the entire day on sun loungers, others paddleboard, play beach volleyball, or hide from the sun under umbrellas.
