Longlist of nominees for Jerzy Giedroyc Literary Award for the best Belarusian book of 2025 announced

In accordance with the award's statute, the jury selected twelve books published in various countries and publishing environments.

The Organizing Committee of the Jerzy Giedroyc Award has announced the longlist of works nominated in 2026 for one of the most important literary awards in the Belarusian cultural space.

This year's longlist for the Jerzy Giedroyc Award reflects the diversity of contemporary Belarusian literature — it presents works of various genres and forms, writes the Award's press service.

In accordance with the award's statute, the jury selected twelve books published in various countries and publishing environments. Some of them are presented in encrypted form for security purposes: the real names of the authors and titles of the works are revealed exclusively to the jury members, which is due to the real conditions in which Belarusian literature is created and distributed today.

Longlist of nominees

In 2026, the following books were included in the award's longlist:
