Man Accused of Murders Worked with Children at a Summer Camp in Vitsebsk Region
Dmitry Pavlichenko, known as the commander of Lukashenka's "death squads" from the 1990s, conducted a "workshop" with weapons at the "Baroŭka" children's summer camp in Lepel district, noted "Vitsebskaya Viasna".

The former founder and first commander of the Special Rapid Response Unit, known for his involvement in creating and leading "death squads," taught children the basics of hand-to-hand combat and weapon use, and participated in medical and fire training sessions. The event was called a "seminar-workshop".

The head of the secret formation, which killed opponents of Alexander Lukashenka in the 1990s, was traditionally invited to speak at the children's summer camp along with Viktor Azarionak, a member of the House of Representatives and the uncle of the well-known propagandist Ryhor Azarionak.

In addition to the training conducted by special forces soldiers, children were extensively told about patriotism and its main component, according to the deputy – the necessity of acquiring military skills to defend their state.
