In 2025, foreign investors injected $4.1 billion into the real sector of Minsk's economy.

The main investors in the capital's organizations were companies from Russia — 70% of all investments received in 2025. This was followed by the United Arab Emirates (9%) and Cyprus (8.8%), according to figures from the Main Statistical Office of Minsk.
Direct foreign investments amounted to $3.7 billion, or 90.5% of all foreign investments received.
Minsk organizations (excluding banks), in turn, invested $2.9 billion abroad. Primarily, the money went to Russian enterprises (93.2% of all investments directed abroad).
Direct investments accounted for 51% of all investments directed abroad.
