The Artemis-2 mission crew flew around the Moon and is returning to Earth. The astronauts, in particular, once again took photos of our planet that replicate the iconic images from 1968.

On December 24, 1968, the Apollo 8 mission transmitted to Earth the iconic "Earthrise" photo, in which our planet appears to rise like the Sun above the Moon's surface.
Now, Artemis astronauts have also captured the famous view of Earth from behind the Moon, which was first shared by the White House.

The Artemis mission departed for the Moon on the night of last Thursday, April 2. Last night, Minsk time, they orbited Earth's satellite and are now returning.
They are expected to return to Earth on April 10. 346 thousand kilometers remain until Earth.
