A balloon flew from Belarus to Ukraine, amplifying the signal for Russian drones

Andrii Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, reported on the Ukrainian telethon that on the evening of May 2, a balloon flew from Belarusian territory into Ukraine, which acts as a repeater and assists Russian drones that Russia launches to attack Ukrainian targets.

Demchenko was responding to a question regarding «specific activity» from Belarus, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had stated the day before.

«The threat from Belarus never disappears… I cannot openly disclose everything now, but we can expect or prepare for attempts to destabilize the situation along our border; we do not rule out provocations,» he said, without specifying what exactly he was referring to.

At the same time, he spoke about the balloon that drew attention on social media on the evening of May 2:

«Last night [May 2], an aerial target was also seen flying in from Belarus, which was later identified as a balloon. In fact, it is a repeater to amplify the signal for aerial destruction means that Russia uses against Ukraine during shelling.»

Валет допрыгается. В Беларуси без его приказа ничего не делается. Но отвечать за соучастие в войне придется, просто сейчас для украинцев есть другие более важные приоритеты.
