All eyewitnesses saw plane, not everyone was bears.
Bears were collected by police
An inmate of a small Belarusian town Ivianiec Vincent Soltan told Nasha Niva that he saw a plane which passed over his house at around 8 AM.
Mr. Soltan says the plane was flying low. The man even thought it was going to land. However, he did not notice any teddy bears parachuted from the plane.
However, some other Ivianiec dwellers say they did saw teddy bears dropped from the plane.
Thus, Sviatlana Turko, a local municipal employee, reported of some packs dropped from a plane to the administration. She says she was summoned to a police station where she saw bags full of teddy bears with attached parachutes and banners.
Another Ivianecer Anatol Roman even took a picture of a bear with his mobile phone but then erased the picture being afraid of consequences.
Several other people have also witnessed something falling from the plane which made circles around the town.
‘This looks shopped’
However, the Ministry of Defence of Belarus still assures the footage of the Swedish pilots dropping teddy bears from the plane as a solidarity action is a false and was done using photo and video editors.
The Ministry representatives called the video “a provocation”.
The Swedish pilots claim to come from Lithuania, drop the teddy bears and — still unnoticed — land in Lithuanian airport.
