The result, to put it mildly, disappointed the fans, especially considering they had to travel to a small town beyond the Arctic Circle.
Therefore, the leading players of the English team — Erling Haaland, Bernardo Silva, Rúben Dias, and Rodri — announced that they would refund the 374 fans for their tickets.
"We know the sacrifices our fans make, traveling all over the world to support us, and we never take that for granted.
Paying for the cost of tickets for those who traveled to Bodø is the least we can do," the players stated.
The total cost of tickets for those who traveled to the away match is approximately 12,500 dollars.
