Minsk residents are asked not to visit popular beaches for three days
Today, May 4, popular recreational areas in the capital are being treated for ticks.
According to the administration of the Central District, specialists are working today in areas near reservoirs and in coastal zones to reduce tick activity.
The following areas were treated:
beach No. 6 of Komsomolskoye Lake reservoir;
beach No. 9 of Drozdy reservoir;
the territory along Vesnyanka thoroughfare;
Svislach embankment (from Arlouskaya Street along the "Window into Nature" eco-trail).
Specialists urge citizens to refrain from visiting these areas for three days. This applies to both people's recreation and walking pets.
