Number of Belarusians registered in Polish social insurance grows to 143 thousand
Compared to April, the number of compatriots increased by 1201 people.

The Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreigners as of the end of May 2026. The number of Belarusians has increased compared to April, writes Reform.news.
As of the end of May, there were 143,030 citizens of Belarus in the Polish social insurance system. Compared to April, the number of compatriots increased by 1201 people.
In total, 1.329 million foreigners were registered with ZUS at the end of May. The total number of insured foreigners increased by 13 thousand people compared to April.
The most numerous group of foreigners working in Poland remains citizens of Ukraine. Almost 891.5 thousand people (+10 thousand compared to April) were registered with ZUS. Belarusians occupy second place. Third are citizens of India (25.26 thousand people).
