Minsk invites to see all shades of lavender

From July 1 to 3, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites residents of Minsk and guests of the capital to the "All Shades of Lavender" excursion-workshop, which will take place at the new exposition of this plant.

On a plot of 16 ares, visitors will be able to see rare varieties of narrow-leaved lavender, adapted to the Belarusian climate, and also enjoy its characteristic aroma.

During the excursion, scientific staff will talk about the medicinal properties of lavender, its use in perfumery, the peculiarities of essential oils, and also share tips on growing this plant.

Those interested will be able to take photos against the backdrop of blooming lavender.

Excursions will start at 4:00 PM and last about an hour and a half. Prior registration is not required.

The full ticket price is 20 rubles, and the concessionary ticket (for schoolchildren, students, pensioners, and large families) is 10 rubles.
