Next to Tolstoy and Dostoevsky: Books about the "SVO" to be included in the Russian school literature curriculum
Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov supported the initiative to include literary works dedicated to the "special military operation" in the school curriculum. Soon, Russian schoolchildren will begin studying propaganda books about military actions in Ukraine.

The head of the department made the corresponding statement on July 4 during a working trip to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. At a meeting with educators in the historical park "Russia — My History", the minister officially approved the teachers' proposal on the necessity of integrating literature about the "SVO" into the educational process.
Thus, it is expected that soon modern Russian front-line prose will take its place in the school timetable alongside such masterpieces of Russian literature as "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoevsky, or the poetry of Alexander Pushkin. Which specific authors and works about the "special operation" will replenish the recognized classical pantheon has not yet been specified by the department.
