Tomorrow, Nezalezhnastsi Avenue will be closed for bridge repairs near Victory Square. How long will these inconveniences last in the capital?
The bridge over the Svislach River on Nezalezhnastsi Avenue is awaiting reconstruction. From July 6, traffic will be restricted on this section, and the traffic management scheme will be changed on others, Minsk-News reports .
Starting Monday, restrictions for all types of transport, except public transport, will be introduced on this avenue from Ya. Kupaly Street to Victory Square.
The bridge is planned to be closed until August 30.
Bypassing the section is suggested via the first and second transport rings, as well as the streets of the city's central part adjacent to Nezalezhnastsi Avenue.
Left turns will be organized in several locations:
from Masherova Avenue to Kuibysheva Street (when driving from Nezalezhnastsi Avenue);
from Masherova Avenue to M. Bahdanovicha Street (when driving from Nezalezhnastsi Avenue);
from Nezalezhnastsi Avenue to Kazlova Street (when driving from Ya. Kolasa Square);
from Ya. Kupaly Street to Nezalezhnastsi Avenue (when driving from Pershamaiskaya Street).
The State Traffic Inspectorate asks to take this information into account when choosing a route.
