US President Donald Trump will hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, July 8. The talks will take place in Ankara during the NATO summit.

As reported by journalist Hiba Nasr on X, citing a high-ranking US official, Trump will hold bilateral meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa — on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Ankara.
On July 4, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Trump, during which he congratulated him on the 250th anniversary of the USA. According to the Ukrainian leader, there is a "real prospect" of ending the war, and the parties agreed to continue the dialogue in person at the NATO summit in Ankara.
The previous meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump took place in June 2026 on the sidelines of the G7 summit. At that time, the parties discussed the issue of Ukraine obtaining licenses for the production of anti-ballistic missiles.
