Is it permissible to drink non-alcoholic beer on the beach, the police explained
Is it possible to drink a bottle of non-alcoholic beer on a park bench or by a body of water and not incur administrative responsibility? On air on «Radio-Minsk», the first deputy head of the Minsk Department of Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Alexander Morozov, answered the question.

It turns out that refreshing oneself with a «zero-alcohol» drink in nature and remaining within the bounds of the law will not work. The reason lies in the legislator's own approach to defining the beverage.
«Responsibility is provided for drinking beer as such. The legislator does not divide it into low-alcohol, non-alcoholic, or beer in principle,» noted the representative of the department.
Alexander Morozov added that even non-alcoholic foamy beverages contain ethyl alcohol, albeit in a minimal amount.
Furthermore, the police are unable to visually determine the composition of the liquid in a can or bottle, and the act of drinking itself sets a negative example for minors. That is why police officers record the mere fact of consuming the product to avoid unnecessary disputes on the spot.
The consequences for such a violation are quite tangible. For the first similar offense, a fine of up to eight basic units (360 rubles today) is stipulated.
If caught again within a year, the punishment becomes stricter: from 2 to 15 basic units.
