Journalist Ihar Kuley shared on Facebook a story that happened near the entrance of the premises where Warsaw-based Belarusians take their children to a theater club on Saturdays.

The theater club classes take place in the very center of the city on a large square. Today, the club organizers were late and didn't open the doors on time, so parents with children had to wait for a while.
Several parents with children stood by the door, and one of the Belarusians asked Ihar if he knew the woman who was standing near the group and photographing everyone. When Ihar said no, the man advised him to be careful.
"I started observing. Medium height, dressed in inconspicuous colors, a hood pulled over her head. In her left hand, a paper bag with some cookies, which she was eating. In her right hand, a phone, which she occasionally directed at us. And when the next adult with a child approached, even from a distance, she would, as if by accident, point the device in their direction. She knew well how to take hidden photos, holding the camera at waist level, and later raising it to her eyes to check if the shot was successful," Kuley describes the situation.

After that, he decided to conduct a test:
"I approached so that she would be in the selfie frame with me and see that I was taking a photo. She sharply turned away and hid her face. After that, she moved away, stood much further from us, but continued to point the camera towards new Belarusians who were approaching the door with their children."
When Ihar approached the woman and asked in Polish what was happening, she replied in Polish, without an accent, that she was just taking family photos, and tried to leave. When Kuley called the police and she realized it, "she dashed across the four-lane road and fled."

"Why do they need these photos? To psychologically break people, to create the impression that no one can be trusted, that there are agents everywhere. 'We know everything about you, today you were at class with your son in a blue jacket. We have our people there too, think about your little son, cooperate...' " Ihar Kuley states his version.
