In various districts of Minsk, residents noticed that tap water turned a rusty color, resembling oil, writes BG.Media. A video of this phenomenon was published by one of the Minsk residents on TikTok, noting that the problem affected the Tsentralny, Frunzenski, Maskouski, Savetski, and Kastrychnitski districts. He also ironically remarked: "Hot water has started flowing."

In the comments, people shared various opinions. Some believed it was normal after an accident and temporary:
"Well, what did you expect? It's always like this after an accident";
"It's all temporary";
"Anything can happen, no one expected such frosts!"
Some noted that such incidents are rare in Minsk compared to other regions of Belarus. And some residents of the Frunzenski district claimed that their water was clean, although there were also complaints about very hot water.
Previously, in November 2025, a similar problem was observed in the Partyzanski and Zavodski districts — residents had to drain rusty water for a long time until clean water flowed, which led to additional heating costs.
