The 38-year-old Belarusian woman allegedly insulted and beat her husband, a citizen of Ukraine, for seven years.
A citizen of Ukraine contacted the police station in Warsaw's Żoliborz district and stated that he had been subjected to violence by his wife, a citizen of Belarus, for seven years, writes Most.
The man recounted that his wife repeatedly started scandals without reason, insulted him with obscene words, pushed him, beat him with a hammer and a rolling pin, and threatened to mutilate and kill him.
The Belarusian woman was detained. She was charged with mental and physical abuse of a close person.
The prosecutor ordered that the woman be placed under police supervision and also prohibited her from approaching her husband's place of residence closer than one meter.
The Belarusian woman faces three months to five years in prison.
