A Threads user told about the incident. According to him, a roe deer was spotted in the pond, unable to get to the shore. The animal was shivering from the cold and looked very frightened. It is believed that it was chased into the water and bitten — probably by dogs.
The video shows a man carefully crossing to the other side on a fallen tree and slowly approaching the animal so as not to scare it even more. At first, the roe deer cautiously retreats, but then, as if realizing that the person poses no danger, it approaches closer. The man calmly calls it to come out and gently takes it by the antlers, after which he pulls it out of the icy water onto dry ground.
The video quickly became popular and garnered thousands of likes. Users in the comments thanked the man and noted that such acts restore faith in people.
At the same time, some people expressed concern about the animal's fate. They believe that the roe deer might have needed veterinary help if it had indeed been bitten. Whether specialists were consulted is not yet known.
