"Where are you all from?!" Slava Komissarenko was stunned by the audience composition at his concert in the USA
During his American tour, Belarusian stand-up star Slava Komissarenko felt as if he had never left Belarus. What's even more incredible is that most of the audience at the concert were from the same Belarusian city.

At his recent show "Thank you, I'm all good" in Amsterdam, Slava Komissarenko shared a story from his American tour. According to his observations, the number of our compatriots in the most unexpected places on the planet has started to exceed all limits.
Performing in US cities, Komissarenko decided to check the audience composition. When he uttered the name "Belarus" from the stage, the audience's reaction was so loud that the comedian was bewildered.
"And it turns out that I'm performing in Atlanta or Tampa — I don't really remember — but the funny thing is, I'm just saying something... I say: 'Belarus,' and the hall goes: 'Woo-hoo!' And I'm like: 'Oh, like, there are a lot of Belarusians today! Give it up for Belarusians!'"
And almost the entire hall — there were about 700 people, simply 500 people clapping: 'Woo-hoo!' And I was like: 'Damn, cool, so many Belarusians.'"
Slava offered the audience an interactive game: on the count of "three," shout out the name of their hometown. The artist evidently expected to hear a mix from Minsk, Brest, Gomel, etc., but something unexpected happened.
"I'm like: 'Guys, what city are you from? Just shout all your cities! One, two, three!' And the hall goes: 'GRODNO!!!'"
Slava reacted with humor: "Damn, what's going on?! Why aren't all of you in Poland with a Pole's Card anyway?"
When asked how this happened, he was explained:
— A couple of families went there, called back, and said: "Everything's fine, come on over."
