Blogger Vlad Bumaga won a court case for a brand and saved money

Well-known blogger Vlad Bumaga, originally from Belarus, won a court case in Russia regarding the rights to the "A4" brand. Now the creator of popular YouTube videos will not have to pay 7.5 million Russian rubles (about 103.6 thousand dollars) in compensation, reports Blizko.by.

The court sided with the blogger in the dispute with the company "SP Rights Services". The lawsuit was related to the use of trademarks "A4", "Vlad Bumaga" and "Vlad A4". The company accused entrepreneur Mikhail Kachergin of illegally using the brand.

Previously, the plaintiff had already tried to secure the satisfaction of the claims through court but was denied. After that, the case was referred to the Intellectual Property Court, which overturned the decisions of lower instances and sent the dispute for a new review. As a result, the court sided with Vlad Bumaga.

This is not the first legal process related to the blogger's name in 2026. In February, it was reported that Vlad Bumaga's representatives filed a lawsuit after clothing featuring the blogger's image was found in stores in Bashkortostan.

At that time, there were two separate proceedings. In one case, an entrepreneur was selling a dress with the blogger's photograph. Initially, Bumaga demanded compensation of 100 thousand Russian rubles (about 1382 dollars), but the court reduced the payment amount to 20 thousand (about 276 dollars).

Vlad Bumaga was born in Minsk in 1996 and began his blogging career in 2014. He later became one of the most popular Russian-speaking YouTube creators, and in 2020, he was included in Forbes' ranking as one of the most promising young Russians under 30.

In addition to blogging, Vlad Bumaga is involved in business. His projects include a software development company for analyzing viewer interest on video platforms, as well as the Lava Lava brand.
