An oil refinery in Syzran (Samara region, Russia) caught fire on July 12 after a drone attack.

This is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Samara region, part of Rosneft. Annually, the plant processes 7 to 8.5 million tons of oil. It produces gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, and bitumen.
It is likely that the AVT-5 unit, which accounts for up to 30% of the plant's primary processing, was damaged, notes the Telegram channel Dnipro Osint.

During the war, the Syzran oil refinery has been attacked multiple times.
