The "Kamunikat" Foundation has published Viktor Shadurski's book "Land Under Grey Wings. The Republic of Belarus: Coexistence and Conflict of Authoritarian Power and Civil Society (November 1996 — August 2020)," reports Bellit.info.

The monograph analyzes key aspects of Belarusian history from November 1996 to August 2020. The author explores the process of coexistence and conflict between authoritarian power and civil society, examines the regime's policies in various state spheres, and the efforts of Belarusian society aimed at the democratic transformation of the country.
The focus is on the gradual consolidation and strengthening of the administrative and repressive apparatus, which allowed the authorities to suppress the mass protests of 2020. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the non-transparency of the electoral system in Belarus, the evolution of the socio-economic model, and the main directions of the state's foreign policy.
The publication can be ordered on the Kamunikat.shop website, and also purchased in a bookstore in Warsaw.
