When the Ministry of Emergency Situations units arrived at the scene, they saw smoke coming from the basement of the building. Rescuers immediately began reconnaissance to determine the source of the fire and check if people were in the dangerous zone.

During an inspection of one of the basements, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees found a man who could not leave the smoke-filled area on his own. He was escorted to fresh air and handed over to medical workers.

An ambulance team took the pensioner to the hospital for examination and necessary assistance. After a medical examination, it was determined that his condition did not require further hospitalization, so the man was discharged home.

The fire was completely extinguished by Ministry of Emergency Situations employees. Now specialists are determining the exact cause of the fire and all circumstances of the incident.
