During a speech commemorating the 195th anniversary of the November Uprising of 1830-1831, Polish President Karol Nawrocki called for learning historical lessons and drew parallels with the present day.
An excerpt from Nawrocki's speech was published by the head of the Polish President's Chancellery, Zbigniew Bogucki, on social network X.
Nawrocki stated that this is a lesson for Poles.

"There are no agreements with the Muscovites, neither in the 19th century, nor in the 20th century, nor in the 21st century. There is only lies, a desire to take away the spirit, and a thirst for destruction. This is a lesson that we all, dear sirs, must learn," said the President of Poland.
