"Bro, don't buy yourself a potato sack — go to the gym": Belarusian TNT presenter criticized men's oversized suits

Belarusian showman Alexander Serykau works as a presenter on the TNT International TV channel. The man calls himself a "budget Johnny Depp." Recently, he decided to criticize men's oversized suits, but in the end, Alexander was the one criticized.

Alexander published his "cry from the soul" on Threads: "It's boiling over. As a man who often wears suits, including tuxedos, I'll note — this oversized stuff of yours is complete crap and a disaster. Even on fuller men, a well-fitted suit will look stylish and cool. And yes, bro, don't buy yourself a potato sack — go to the gym. And secondly, what annoys me even more — sneakers with a suit are only worn by people with no taste, wedding hosts, and KVN players. Bought a suit — buy shoes too. Sorry for being stuffy, it's just boiling over. Just compare the two photos. In the second one — it's me."

The post caused a stir. But the absolute majority of commentators disagreed with the showman. The most popular comment, which gathered 1.6 thousand likes, was: "Thanks for the photo! We clearly saw that your opinion is subjective and has nothing to do with reality. That is, the guy in the oversized outfit in the first photo looks much better than the guy in the second."

Many believed that Alexander's suit didn't fit him: "A disaster — that's cropped sleeves on a jacket, like in the second photo. Are you wearing it from your graduation and just can't buy a new, more current and properly sized one?"

One of the commentators noted that Black Tie is not appropriate everywhere and always. "Well then, with that approach, let's put everyone in waistcoats and codpieces, and brocade shoes with bows," the man ironically added.

Particularly attentive commentators also noticed the Apple Watch on the presenter's wrist — because a sports watch doesn't really suit a classic suit.

Someone took the trouble to check the showman's social networks: "Calm down, people. We're being told about style by a person who wears a Betera sweatshirt."

Alexander himself, it seems, was offended by the criticism. He writes that his suit was custom-made. And those who like the first photo have no taste or style.
