Magyar: Szijjártó went to the MFA to destroy important documents

Péter Magyar, who is set to become Hungary's new Prime Minister following yesterday's elections in Hungary, stated at a press conference that the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó, has not disappeared, as previously thought, but is in Budapest, writes "European Truth".

According to Magyar, Szijjártó arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the morning with his colleague and is allegedly engaged in destroying important documents related to sanctions. Magyar claims that similar actions are happening not only in the ministry but also in other state institutions, comparing it to practices from the communist era.

He also noted that the new government currently does not possess full information about a number of international agreements and secret government decisions. Additionally, Magyar stated that the previous government might have taken loans under unknown conditions, about which nothing is currently known.

Therefore, he named obtaining and studying all documents as one of the main tasks of the new government.

Earlier, Hungarian media noted that Szijjártó had not appeared publicly for a long time after the defeat of Viktor Orbán's party in the elections became known.
