Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, known by the call sign "Madyar," stated in an interview with a British journalist that Ukraine deliberately does not strike the Crimean Bridge. According to him, instead, Ukrainian forces are implementing a different strategy — gradually isolating occupied Crimea by disrupting the logistics of Russian troops, writes "RBC-Ukraine".

Brovdi noted that the main focus is on destroying supply routes for fuel, ammunition, personnel, and military equipment used to support the Russian grouping on the peninsula. According to him, as a result of such actions, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Russia to hold Crimea. And the Crimean Bridge is suitable for evacuating Russians from there, about which Madyar spoke as clearly and crudely as possible:
"We are not touching the Crimean Bridge, if you haven't noticed. Let them **flee** through it. Let all those millions **get the hell out** through that bridge, **damn it**, non-stop to their Russia."
The Commander of the USB also stated that Ukraine aims to create conditions under which Russian troops will not be able to effectively remain on the peninsula, without conducting a large-scale ground operation and without risking the lives of Ukrainian servicemen.
According to him, Ukrainian forces will continue to strike Russian tankers and other vessels used for supplying fuel and military cargo to Crimea. He stated that 21 tankers were damaged in just three days, and a total of 76 Russian vessels were damaged between July 6 and 11.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a series of strikes on Russian targets in the Sea of Azov. According to the Ukrainian side, during these operations, vessels, an oil terminal, an ammunition depot, and other objects used for military logistics were damaged.
