"Maryia and Viktar need time for recovery and communication with their loved ones. Maryia Kalesnikava and Viktar Babaryka ask for understanding and for a little time," the statement reads.
Viktar Babaryka and Maryia Kalesnikava were released on December 13 among 123 political prisoners; they were taken to Ukraine, and on Sunday they gave a press conference in Chernihiv.
