The Ministry of Internal Affairs expressed condolences to the senior precinct officer of the Naroulya District Department of Internal Affairs, Captain Aliaksei Palaz, regarding the death of his two children — 10-year-old Radamir and 5-year-old Milena.

The tragedy occurred on June 14. At that time, a fire broke out on Sotsialisticheskaya Street in Naroulya. A 73-year-old woman and her two great-grandchildren died.

Aliaksei Palaz is 37 years old, born in Mozyr. After military service, he worked under contract in colony No. 20 for recidivists in Mozyr. He married Tatsiana Yaromenka, a medical college student in Naroulya, and transferred to Naroulya to be closer to her. Initially, he served in the detachment for protecting territories of radioactive contamination, and later became a precinct officer.

Aliaksei Palaz is responsible for all villages in the Naroulya district, while 33-year-old Tatsiana Palaz works as a senior nurse in the therapeutic department of the district hospital and studies at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of Gomel State University.
