Propagandist Baravik Wrote an Extremely Talentless Poem Glorifying Russia for Russia Day
Before Russia Day, which is celebrated in the neighboring country on June 12, the well-known political scientist-propagandist Vadim Baravik was received by the Russian ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov, and brought him a sycophantic poem of his own making as a gift.

The quality of the poem, even from a technical execution standpoint, does not withstand any criticism, as it contains awkward rhymes and unjustified shifts in poetic meter. The ideological content also appears strange, as Baravik writes his work on behalf of "officers," although his official biographies do not contain facts of service in security forces.

At the same time, Baravik signed his work as a "laureate of the National Literary Prize," which he indeed received last year in the category "Best Debut" for his collection of poems "I'm Walking Through Minsk" (Иду по Минску). Such an honor, more than anything else, clearly testifies to the creative level of contemporary pro-government literature.
